We are thrilled to announce 10th Hawaii Week for the Animals presented by Animal World USA kicks off 2023.  Due to COVID, our past years' celebrations have been put on hold. See Calendar of Events page for details on events across Hawaii during the past exciting Hawaii Week for the Animals.

To see how other states have celebrated Animal World USA Weeks, please visit http://www.weeksfortheanimals.org/

Throughout the week, educational institutions, animal shelters, rescue groups, and humane organizations across the state will be hosting scores of wonderful animal-related special events.  Educators, students, businesses and caring citizens across Hawaii will be joining in, planning exciting activities to celebrate and help animals.

Events will include adoption fairs, pet care days, low cost spay/neuter awareness opportunities, shelter days, library displays, volcano & nature walks, benefits, and therapy dogs visiting hospitals and living-assisted homes.

Also to be included are a salute to our working K9s, feral cat initiatives, educational programs, whale activities and fun-filled festival days for families to come and enjoy food, music and the always amazing animals!

Beautiful Hawaii teaches us about a special need to realize the environment is a precious form of life that we should engage in a mutually supportive fashion in order to protect the animals' habitat and celebrate life as a whole.  We are all connected and depend on the health of the planet. Hawaii brings that point home in so many ways.

Please become involved! Events are being planned now, and we need animal lovers everywhere in Hawaii to start planning so we can all collectively participate!  See the page "Become Involved" on this website for lots of great ideas and suggestions on what you can do.

See the Calendar of Events for exciting events,  and please note we will be adding events during the exciting week.
